Festo Del Fumetto 08
Its just 2 more weeks to NBS FOC 08! For those excited freshies out there who have been constantly refreshing this blog for updates, you're in for a treat!
If the Freshies and Queries (FAQ) section wasn't enough to satisfy your hunger to know more about the camp, then this post tells you who you guys will be expecting to meet in this FOC!
In this 5 days 4 nights of fun, fun and more fun, be ready to meet:
The hungry people. But no worries our welfare ladies will ensure that your tummies are well taken care of!
The shy people. These people usually take some time to warm themselves up. But once they're warmed up they're really fun loving people!
The sleepyheads. But because of the fun, they will never feel more awake!
The fit ones! With well toned muscles from army, who wouldnt want to impress the ladies with some push ups?!?
We also have the really cool ones who are ever ready to strike their pose at every sighting of the shutter.
As you can see, we have people from all walks in this camp. But regardless of who you are, we guarantee that at the end of the camp:
Everyone becomes a family.
Be part of the family. See you on Festa Del Fumetto, 14th to 18th Jul 08.

FAQ
Ok Guys its great to see that most of you are looking forward to the camp! To aid u guys in preparation, i've compiled NBS's very own
Q: Do i send the cheque/cash together with my application form?
No you DO NOT. Selected participants will be notified and contacted via either email or phone. Collection of $50 will only be made after confirmation.
Q: What if i can only join the camp 1 day after commencement?
Should you get selected, all you need to do is to inform the person who contacts you. This applies for participants who have to leave early as well. Like i said, you dont really want to miss out on the opportunities to make great friends because of that 1 day that you cant make it right?!?! Most importantly, you dont wanna miss out on the FUN!
Q: i cant swim. i cant cycle. would that pose a problem?
Of course not! we will be kind enough to excuse you from games that require swimming. Cycling will not be required for the camp. Other than that, refer to previous question on why you should just apply first
Q: I dont have a passport photo. What can be done?
If you REALLY REALLY do not have a passport photo, then i guess its fine if you submit a normal 4R or 3R photo. However there are certain procedures after matriculation that will require you to submit passport photos too. So why not save the hassle and get it taken today! : )
Q: Whats the packing list?
Not to worry too much about this. Your friendly and helpful Group Leaders(GLs) will contact you with regards to packing list if you get selected. Most likely an email will be sent on what to pack for the camp.
Q: Can i send my application via mail?
I have mentioned this as well. As all applications will e sent to maybeline and re-sorted out, it is best that you send your application by snail mail. This allows better reference amongst all other group leaders as well as higher efficiency.
Q: How do i delete my course accordingly in the application form if im pursuing a double degree?
just circle both : )
